Loretta Christina Panaro, 83, of the Cayce (Ky.) community died March 16, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church near Fulton. There will be no visitation.
Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 24, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y., daughter of the late Salvatore and Freida (Wickner) Placanica. She was the widow of Genero Panaro, who died Nov. 12, 2007, and was a retired seamstress. She had lived in Ardmore, Okla., for 25 years and had moved to this area in 2001. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Adrienne Neeley of Cayce; two sons, Keith Panaro of Hillsboro, Ore., and Frank Panaro of Austin, Texas; and five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Salvatore Placanica; and two sisters, Freida Federico and Frances Capozzi.
