Completed arrangements are being announced for Lonnie Michael “Super” Stover, 59, of Union City, who died 3:35 p.m. March 16, 2011, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Justin Thomas, Craig Menees, Jeffery Ervin, Kyle Stover, Steve Cranford and Dennis Cranford. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Miller and Allan Brewer.
He was born June 18, 1951, in Union City, son of the late Lonnie Curby and Brunell (Mills) Stover. He was a truck driver for Williams Sausage Co. and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his son, Kyle Brandon Stover; his daughter, Kaila Beth Stover; five grandchildren, Amari McCall Ervin, Kylan Maddox Ervin, Kailan McClain Ervin, Channing Morgan Ervin and Robert Phipps Stover; and two sisters, Pat Miller and Charlotte Fisher, all of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by his niece, Deronda Reed.
