Senior Friends meet at Autry’s in Troy

Senior Friends of Cobb’s Chapel United Methodist Church met recently at Autry’s Country Kitchen and used a Valentine theme for their outing.
Those who attended included Mattie Lou Moran, who provided the devotional; Ilar Moran; Norval Cranford, who gave the blessing before the meal; Virginia Cranford; Mary Nichols; Junior and Betty Davis; Cy and Etta Harris; Faye Howard; Roland Davis; Thelma Davis; Leon McCullough; Evelyn Rudd; Maudie Byrd; Virginia Smithson; Mozelle Flippen; Aaron Smith; Peggy Woody; Louise Johnson; Carnece Guy; Kay Fultz; Anna Mae Muse; and Rob and Aimee Muse.
Mrs. Nichols spoke to the group about the first Valentine’s Day.
Birthdays were celebrated for Moran and for Muse, with Anna Mae Muse treating the group to peach cobbler in honor of his birthday.
