Ex-Reb skipper Hill
on the move again

Former Obion County Central head football coach Chris Hill is on the move — again.
Hill, who led the Rebels to a 13-9 mark and the state playoffs in both his seasons at the Rebel helm in 2001 and ’02, has resigned at Parkway (La.) High School to take a job at Wynne (Ark.).
It is the fifth job switch for Hill since he left OCCHS.
Hill led Parkway to a 10-2 season and the second round of the state playoffs last season.
He cited family health concerns for his latest move, expressing a desire to be closer to his father, who had a stroke last Aug.

UTM football squad
receives York trophy

The UT Martin football team officially received its Sgt. York Trophy at the 13th Annual Pepsi Celebration of Champions event held at the Grand Ole Opry House recently in Nashville.
The event was hosted by the Nashville Sports Council.
UT Martin finished the season 3-0 in Sgt. York Trophy series games (vs. Austin Peay, Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech) to claim its first trophy in the series.
The Sgt. York Trophy goes to the winner of the quadrangular season football series between the four OVC schools located in the state of Tennessee — Austin Peay, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech  and UT Martin.
The Skyhawks claimed their first Sgt. York championship this year and became the third straight team to go 3-0 in the series during the year.
