Heather Burdette – Walt Hunt wedding will take place May 7

Heather Nicole Burdette of Martin and Walter Escue Hunt of Ripley would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Joel and Gail Easley Burdette of Martin, granddaughter of George R. Easley Sr. of Union City and the late Betty Rives Easley, the late Floyd and Audrey Smith Burdette, Frances Osborne Rhodes of Corinth, Miss. and the late James Rhodes.
Heather will be graduating in April 2011 from the Baptist College of Health Science in Memphis with a bachelor of Health Science with a focus in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She is a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Allied Health Student Association, a Habitat for Humanity volunteer and on the Dean’s List. She plans to practice ultrasound in the Knoxville area.
The groom-elect is the son of Dr. Joe W. and Cynthia Escue Hunt of Ripley, grandson of Mrs. Etta Sappington Hunt of Alamo and the late Dr. Joe H. Hunt, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Silas J. Escue.
He was a 2010 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin with a B.S. Mechanical Engineering and is current a graduate assistant and pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
The wedding will take place at the First United Methodist Church in Union City on Saturday, May 7 at 2 p.m. with the music beginning at 1:30 p.m. A reception will be held at 3 p.m. in the Community Room of the First State Bank in Martin. All friends and family members are cordially invited to attend. Only out-of-town invitations will be sent.
