Food distribution set

Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, located at 720 East College St. in Union City, will be distributing food in partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank through the Mobile Food Pantry Thursday at the site.
Registration will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. and food will be distributed beginning at 9 and will be given out until supplies are exhausted.
Those participating must provide proof of income for 2011; food stamp cards will not be accepted. Only one box of food per household will be allowed. Those taking part in the effort must pick up their own food; pickups for others will not be allowed.
Food is distributed free of charge, without discrimination.
