Completed arrangements are being announced for Mary Jane Vincent, 91, of South Fulton, who died 3:50 p.m. March 10, 2011, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dukedom.
The family requests that memorials be made to Jeff Stinnett Foundation, in care of Madison Academy, 325 Slaughter Road, Madison, AL 35758; Jimmy Lowry Scholarship Fund, in care of Rita Lowry, Heritage Bank, 306 Lake St., Fulton, KY 42041; or South Fulton United Methodist Church, 205 Orchard Drive, South Fulton, TN 38257.
She was born Aug. 24, 1919, in Weakley County, daughter of the late Paul and Lelon (Pentecost) Kennedy. She was the widow of Minnice E. Vincent and was a member of South Fulton United Methodist Church. She had been a social worker for the Department of Human Services.
Survivors include three daughters, Janice Lowry of Pilot Oak, Ky., Joy Ward of Desloge, Mo., and June Stinnett of Huntsville, Ala.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Waddell of Murfreesboro and Paula Hayse of Knoxville.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hope Kemp; and her grandson, Jeff Stinnett.
