Fulton City Commission will meet 6:30 p.m. today in the commission room at Fulton City Hall.
Items on the agenda include approval of minutes from the Feb. 28 meeting; a report from the Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Agency; the awarding of Scattered Site Housing Revitalization bids; the reappointment of Peggy Tribble and Kenney Etherton to the Fulton Tourism Board; the appointment of Milton Dean to the Fulton Electric Plant Board; the reappointment of Gwen Wood, James “Bobby” Powell, George Bean, William Jackson and Darcy Linn to the Fulton Board of Zoning Adjustments; the acceptance of June Klein’s resignation from the Twin City Ambulance Board; the appointment of Hal Klein to that board; the rezoning of property at 341 Walnut St. from C-1 to C-3 for a dance studio; the first reading of an ordinance stating that no trailers be allowed in a commercial or service zoned area; discussion of the city’s auditor contract; discussion of the out-sourcing and mailing and printing for city utility bills; and the discussion of the future use of the mass foreclosure property purchased by the city.
Other business, as presented by guests, the city manager, commissioners, the city attorney and the mayor, will also be considered. The session is open to the public.
The commission will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel and pending litigation.
