Earlean Harmon, 89, of Union City died March 11, 2011, at her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Anointed Church of the Living God in Union City, with Alf Young officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 5, 1922, in Jackson, daughter of the late Fannie (Morgan) Young and the late Lee Williamson. She was a homemaker and was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church. She had also owned the former Big Mama’s Kitchen in Union City.
Mrs. Harmon was the widow of Edgar Harmon, whom she married in 1939.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Jeanette Harmon and Edgar “Sonny” and Kathryn Harmon, all of Union City; her daughter, Dorothy M. Halliburton of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Alf Young of Mount Clemens, Mich., and Welton Young of Dayton, Ohio; and 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ada M. Coleman; and six sisters.
