Art classes for children at the Obion County Museum have been changed to Tuesdays from 3-4:15 p.m. A few spaces remain open for students and the group will be working on projects that can be entered at the Obion County Fair competition. Clay projects are among those planned as warmer weather begins.
The 6 p.m. art class on Thursdays has extended its instructional time from 5:30-7 and there is space for two adult art students in this class. The sessions cover drawing and painting for beginners, but students with more experience are also welcome, according to instructor Marti Doss. Art in several media is taught so that students may enjoy a choice or learn versatility.
