Completed arrangements are being announced for Novella Jones Dame, 90, of South Fulton, who died March 8, 2011, at Weakley County Rehab and Nursing Center in Dresden.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with the Rev. James Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Dresden’s Sunset Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9-11 a.m. Friday.
She was born July 7, 1920, in Dresden, daughter of the late Ed Cooper and the late Rosie (Insco) Cooper Culver. She was the widow of Horace Jones and of Norris Dame and was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She had been employed at the former Obion County General Hospital as a licensed practical nurse and was a member of Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Jones of Martin and Gary Jones of Paris; two stepsons, Douglas Jones of Greenfield and Tom Dame of Cotter, Ark.; her stepdaughter, Nancy Moore of Mountain Home, Ark.; her half brother, Aaron Culver of Bradford; and five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Lloyd Jones; her brother, Harold Cooper; her stepfather, Ellis Culver; and a grandchild.
