The terms of James Carl Hammond, Jason Crabtree and Lee Jay Hobbs, all of whom have been serving as members of the board of supervisors of the Obion County Soil Conservation District, will expire March 31.
An election will be held Tuesday to select those who will fill these positions in the future. Nominations include Dianne Jenkins, Crabtree, Hobbs, Hammond, David Nichols and Donnie Hutchison.
Landowners holding legal title to lands within the Obion County Soil Conservation District are eligible to vote from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at any of these locations: Obion Farmers Co-op in Kenton, Obion Grain Co. in Obion, Agri-Equipment Co. in Union City and the Union City USDA Service Center.
