Boys and Girls Club — Members of the Month

Taylor Barlow, a senior at Union City High School, is the January Teen of the Month at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Tennessee-Union City. Miss Barlow, the daughter of Rhonda Barlow of Halls and Alvin R. McCadney of Union City, has been a club member for a year and a half and says interacting with other teens is her favorite thing about the club. She also enjoys being a Peer Leader to younger club members and participating in the activities and programs open to teens.
Miss Barlow is a Tennessee Honors Student at UCHS and is a member of the UCHS Pep Club and the award-winning high school marching band. She has won six superior and ensemble medals and has been named to the All-State Band. She also claims three Honor Band awards.
As a student at Hall High School, she was a member of the Student Council.
She is a member of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Union City and is a member of the Tennessee National Guard and the Obion County Prevention Coalition which was formed to fight substance abuse among young people.
She enjoys texting, reading, shopping, running track and being with family and friends.
