Van Fleet Chamber Orchestra to perform at Krider in Paris

The Paris Henry County Arts Council is hosting the Van Fleet Chamber Orchestra at Krider Performing Arts Center March 13 at 3 p.m.
Under the direction of Doug Van Fleet, the Van Fleet Chamber Orchestra brings together the finest players in the Paducah, Ky., area. Consisting of both professional players and area educators, they will perform a wide array of chamber music that dates back to the 18th Century and the Baroque Period. This afternoon serenade will educate and entertain audiences of all ages.
To offer this experience to the youth of Henry County, the Arts Council will provide free tickets to the Youth Orchestra as well as the Henry County High School Band students.
This performance is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and the Tennessee Arts Commission. It is also sponsored by Bob Miller, The Krider Performing Arts Center and Security Bank.
Tickets to this event are $10 and can be purchased from the Arts Council office, 100 North Caldwell St., or from any board member.
