Completed arrangements are being announced for Sandra Denise “Sandy” (Gammons) Clark, 47, of Union City, who died March 2, 2011, at her home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Ararat Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Troy, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at White-Ranson Funeral Home 5-8 this evening and at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Overton, Paul Clark, Paul Crowell, Brad Davis, Rodney Hicks and Butch Redden. Honorary pallbearers will be Dee Brown and Kenneth Rhodes.
The family requests that memorials be made to Obion County Hometown Walk of Hope.
She was born Feb. 23, 1964, in Union City, daughter of the late Floyd and Lou Dean (Pulley) Gammons. She married John Edward Clark May 6, 1984. He survives. She was an employee of the E.W. James Supermarket in Union City for 20 years and was a member of Crosswind Baptist Church in Union City.
She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Cyndia Clark of Dickson; her grandson, Kylan Clark of Dickson; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Maddie Gammons of McKenzie, Darrell and Debbie Gammons of Bruceton, Tony and Angela Gammons of Troy and Jerry and Missy Gammons of Union City; her sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Jerry Cannon of Gadsden, Ala.; her mother-in-law, Joyce Clark of South Fulton; two sisters-in-law, Judy Williams of South Fulton and Linda (Clark) Ballenger of Brandon, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Clark; her father-in-law, Virgil Clark; and two brothers-in-law, Joe Clark and James Clark.
