Sharon Public Library offers services to our community. The library offers faxing and copying for a minimal fee. We also offer paper shredding and Free Wi-Fi.

This week’s Story Time topic was Bees and Honey. The children also enjoyed the book “It’s Raining, It’s Pouring” by Kin Eagle. What a perfect book for a rainy day. They also sang a couple songs to go with the theme of the book. The children spent some time playing games on the computer.

Next month is Dr. Seuss’ Birthday.

Stop by the library to see what we have going on and what’s on display.  Please bring your children by on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for out story time.

The Book Buzz had their monthly meeting on Thursday. They had a discussion on three books. Next month’s meeting will be March 24 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to come join our book club.

The Library also has several different community items for sale, “The Last 100 Years of Sharon,” “Sharon Afghan” and there is a copy of the City of Sharon Cookbook left on hand. Several new DVDs and VHS movies have been added.

Would you like to honor a loved with a gift that keeps on giving? The library continues to accept “In Memory” monetary donations. Please stop by to check out our ongoing book sale-new books are added weekly. Ink jet cartridges, old cell phones and laser jet cartridges are now being taken for recycling.
