Martha Lane Darnall, 94, of Hornbeak died Feb. 25, 2011, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Saturday at Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak, with Harrell Davidson officiating. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Feb. 17, 1917, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Sam and Fannie Byrd (Summers) Tucker. She was a homemaker and a member of Hornbeak Church of Christ. She was the widow of Wilson Darnall, who died in 1975, and was a 1935 graduate of the former Hornbeak High School.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Bob Yates of Hornbeak; three sons and daughters-in-law, Butch and Judy Darnall, Jerry Dan and Linda Darnall and John and Laura Darnall, all of Hornbeak; and 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Dan Tucker, John Tucker and Jerry Tucker; and seven sisters, Mary Hamilton, Claudia Tompkins, Carrie Hailey, Ruth Tucker, Bess Crockett, Sammie Dee Ruble West and Margaret Thompson Hogan.
