Fulton meeting set

Fulton City Commission will meet 6:30 p.m. today in the commission room at Fulton City Hall.
Items on the agenda include approval of minutes from both regular and called meetings held in February; approval of vouchers; a report from Cameron Miller, general manager of New Wave Communications, in reference to recent upgrades to the cable system and future products the company will offer; consideration of municipal orders to sell a city lot on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to Johnny Lucy; consideration of municipal orders to hire Troy Hutson as a full-time dispatcher; consideration of municipal orders to authorize the city manager to accept bids for a generator at the Fulton fire/police complex and to authorize the city manager to accept bids for energy-efficient windows and egress doors meeting the Federal Energy Requirements at Fulton fire/police complex and at Fulton City Hall. The commission will also consider municipal orders to appoint Stephanie Latta and Debbie Jerman to the Planning and Zoning Board; to reappoint Doug Fisette, David Ware and Paul Billings to the Planning and Zoning Board; to reappoint Beth McWhirt, Peggy Lohaus and Nicky Forrester to the Virgil Memorial Airport Board; and to reappoint Amelia Prater, Roger Kephart, Rita Mitchell and Cubb Stokes to the Fulton Industrial Development Authority Board.
The session is open to the public.
The commission will then adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel and pending litigation.
