On Wednesday night, Feb. 2, Bro. Larry Clark read from Psalms 51:1-19 and I John: 8-10 for the scripture text for the Bible study.
On Thursday, Feb. 3rd, Bro. John Clark had surgery on his shoulder at the Regional Hospital in Jackson.
On Sunday, Feb. 6, Bro. Larry read John 14:6 for the message entitled “Do Dead People Go To Hell?”
On Sunday night, he used Hebrews 12:16-17 and Genesis 25:27 for the message entitled “A
Bowl of Stew.” The monthly business meeting followed.
There were no services on Wednesday night, Feb. 9 due to the bad weather.
On Sunday, Feb. 13, Bro. Larry read Matthew 28:16-20 for the message entitled “The Church Makes Disciples.”
On Sunday night, Bro. Larry read John 5:7-16 for the message entitled “An Invalid
At The Pool of Bethesda.”
Our Women on Mission meeting was postponed from Feb. 9 to Feb. 16. The week of Feb. 14 – Feb. 20 is being recognized as “WMU Focus Week.”
On Wednesday night, Feb. 16th, Bro. Larry Clark read Genesis 26:18 and Isaiah 12:3 for the scriptures for the Bible Study with the men.
The ladies met in their monthly Women On Mission meeting. We had seven ladies present with Janice Clark in charge of the program.
Glad to report that Larry Cobb is home after spending a few days in the hospital.
On Sunday morning, Feb. 20th, the choir sang “Coming” for the special music. Bro. Larry Clark then read John 10:17-18 for the message entitled “When Love Makes A Choice.”
Before dismissing, Ted Dyer presented a birthday card and a monetary gift to Bro. Larry and Janice Clark as their birthdays on the 22nd and 25th. We appreciate our pastor and his wife for their work for the Lord in our church.
On Sunday night, Bro. Larry used verses from Philemon for the message entitled “Pleading The Cause Of A Friend.”
