Lael SS Class has meeting

Lael Sunday School Class at Union City First Baptist Church met recently at the home of Faye Passmore, who opened the session with prayer. Attending were Joyce Stephens, Jessie White, Edna McIntosh, Dorothy Rasberry, Jean Eaker, Arlene Keeling, Bobbie Adams, Lena Mai Pruitt and Dot Capps.
Mrs. Stephens offered a prayer for the military, for the bereaved and the sick and for the Key family, who are missionaries. Ms. Capps gave a devotion on “Born Again” from John 3 and Romans 3.
Mrs. Passmore and Ms. Capps served cake, Chex™ mix, nuts and beverages.
The group decided to make a donation to a children’s camp.
