The Union City School System has announced the following lunch menus for Feb. 28-March 4:
Union City High School
Monday, Feb. 28 — Baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Tuesday, March 1 — Beef chicken fried steak with gravy, steamed cabbage, Great Northern beans, roll, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Wednesday, March 2 — Baked potato with ham and cheese, steamed broccoli with cheese sauce, purple hull peas, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Thursday, March 3 — Scrambled eggs with sausage and biscuit, potato logs, carrot sticks, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Friday, March 4 — Cheeseburger with bun, French fries, fresh sandwich salad cup, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.
Note: UCHS offers fiesta, reduced-fat pizza and fresh salad bar options daily.
Union City Middle School

Wednesday, March 2 — Chili and grilled cheese sandwich or tuna salad sandwich, buttered potatoes, cole slaw, Texas toast, assorted canned and fresh fruits, and low-fat milk and skim milk.

Tuesday, March 1 — Breakfast burrito or whole grain cereal with an orange wedge and graham cracker, juice and milk.
Wednesday, March 2 — Cheese, egg and bacon whole grain biscuit or whole grain cereal with cheese wheat toast, juice and milk.
Thursday, March 3 — Whole grain turkey sausage pancake stick with syrup or whole grain cereal with yogurt, juice and milk.
Friday, March 4 — Breakfast pizza or cereal with wheat cinnamon toast, juice and milk.
Lunch
Monday, Feb. 28 — Crispito with cheese or whole grain cheese pizza, corn on the cob, purple hull peas, mixed fruit, Goldfish crackers and milk or juice.

Wednesday, March 2 — Chicken patty with bun or lasagna with breadstick, mashed potatoes, romaine salad with dressing, baked apples, snack mix and milk or juice.
Thursday, March 3 — Turkey and cheese Munchin’ Meal or chicken spaghetti with whole grain roll, stewed carrots, English peas, St. Patrick’s applesauce, lime Jell-O and milk or juice.
Friday, March 4 — Hamburger with bun or pimento cheese with crackers, baked beans, French fries, carrot sticks with dressing, fresh banana, lime sherbet and milk or juice.
