The Obion County Central High School Art Club is again sponsoring art lessons for children in grades kindergarten through eighth. Classes offered in February have been rescheduled because inclement weather and conflicts within the school calendar disrupted the planned activities. The last two lessons on pottery making, originally set for Feb. 8 and today, will be held Thursday and March 3 instead.
The lessons are taught on Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the OCCHS art room by OCCHS art faculty, assisted by Art Club members. Students have the option of selecting the classes that appeal to them from month to month.
Cost of the lessons is $10 per lesson or $25 per unit of three lessons, payable when students come to class. All supplies will be provided.
The March classes will begin March 8 and will continue March 22 and 29 and will focus on print making.
Students should enter the building from the back parking lot through the commons area.
