Richard Smythe Buckelew Jr., 46, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Katie (Voss) Buckelew of Fulton and Richard S. Buckelew Sr. of Dresden, died Feb. 19, 2011, at his home.
Services will be noon Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Bill Benefield officiating. Burial will follow in Buckelew Cemetery in Tiptonville.
Friends may call this evening from 5-8 at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1964, in Lake County. He was an electrician and was employed at K&K Electric.
Survivors also include his wife, Cindy (Benefield) Buckelew; his son, Cody Bradencamp of Cape Girardeau; his daughter, Kayla Bradencamp of Cape Girardeau; his stepmother, Enola Buckelew of Dresden; two stepbrothers, James Nichols of Tupelo, Miss., and Kenny Nichols of Jackson; his sister, Tammy Draughn of Fulton; five stepsisters, Shelia Reagan and Patsy Morgan, both of Dresden, Virginia Driver of Union City, Brenda Lowrance of Martin and Judy Chambers of West Virginia; three nieces and nephews and their spouses and families, Michael and Amanda Dunn, Misty and Cullen Brown and Tabitha Lannom; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his brother, William Whitby Buckelew.
