Bethel will host Job Market

Bethel University in McKenzie will host the Job Market, the 20th annual consortium career fair, on March 17.
The event is designed to provide career resources to college students and alumni and is sponsored by a five-member consortium that includes Bethel University, Freed-Hardeman University, Lambuth University, Union University and Lane College.
The Job Market will feature about 30 corporations and agencies and will include several Fortune 500 companies, according to organizers.
Corporate sponsors include State Farm, Enterprise Holdings, E.W. James & Sons Supermarkets, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Asera Care Hospice, Regions Financial, Sherwin-Williams Paint Company, AFLAC, Tennessee Army National Guard, Target Stores, the U.S. Army, CB Richard Ellis, Hertz Corporation, Walgreens, Walmart Stores and Portfolio Recovery Associates Inc.
The Job Market will be held in the gym of the Roy Baker Fieldhouse from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

All students and alumni of the five sponsoring institutions are invited to attend free of charge. Dress is professional and those attending should bring multiple copies of their resumés to distribute to prospective employers, according to organizers.
