About 411 Gibson Electric Membership Corp. customer-owners in the communities of Gratio, Cat Corner, Elbridge, Minnick and Dew Drop were affected by a power outage Wednesday afternoon.
The outage began at 4:42 p.m. and was caused by a car that struck a guy wire, according to Rita Alexander, Gibson EMC’s vice president of human resources and communications. Crews restored service at 5:26 p.m.
