Miss White, Pike to wed

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Jonanne White and Richard Alan Pike are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jill and Tony White of Tiptonville. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Dare Hayes of Samburg and the late Marvin Hayes and Daisy White of Ridgely and the late Holland White.
She is a 2004 graduate of Lake County High School in Tiptonville.
She received her bachelor of science degree in elementary education at the University of Memphis. While there, she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.
She is a second-grade teacher at Margaret Newton Elementary School in Tiptonville.
The groom-elect is the son of Terri and Victor Pike of Dyersburg. He is the grandson of Doris and Harold Kay of Germantown, Nellie Pike of Dyersburg and the late Harvey Pike.
He is a 2001 graduate of Dyersburg High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in special education at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
He is a teacher at Dyer County High School, where he served as an assistant football coach for the Dyer County Choctaws.
The couple will wed June 25 at First Baptist Church of Ridgely.
A reception will follow at Cypress Point Resort.
