Parnell was addicted to methamphetamine, alcohol and other drugs for 23 years before a suicide attempt turned his life around and led to his becoming a public speaker in anti-drug advocacy around the country. General Sessions Judge Tommy Moore (right) was one of several people who showed up to congratulate Parnell and purchase a copy of the book. wcp 2/15/11 | | | |
