Janice V. King, 77, of Tiptonville died Feb. 11, 2011, at her home.
Services were set for 11 a.m. today at Tiptonville First Baptist Church, with burial following in Lake Memorial Gardens in Tiptonville.
Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The Revs. Steve Carr, Jason Allison and Hollis Boyd were to officiate and pallbearers were to be Ryan Chadwick, Nathan Chadwick, Josh Chadwick, Aaron King, Amanda Barlow and Danny Boyd. Honorary pallbearers were to be Tony Parker, Roland Pope, Mike Fraley and Tommy Norris.
She was the retired cafeteria manager for the Lake County School System and had been a correctional officer for 12 years at Northwest Correctional Facility in Tiptonville. She was a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy King; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan (King) and Tim Chadwick of St. Charles, Mo., and Joi Lynn (King) and Jonathan Davis of Hornbeak; her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. and Phyllis King of Jackson, Mo.; her sister, Quinna Mae Nale of Memphis; six grandchildren, Ryan Chadwick, Nathan Chadwick, Aaron King, Amanda King Barlow, Jonathan Davis and Jordan Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Josh Chadwick, Kaitlyn Chadwick, Emily Chadwick and Bradley Chadwick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Odell Boyd; and her brother, Willa Fay Boyd.
