Hank Norman Brewer, 58, of Tiptonville died Feb. 11, 2011, at his home.
Services were set for 2 p.m. today at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Jimmy Smith officiating. Burial was to follow in Crockett Chapel Cemetery near Reelfoot Lake.
Pallbearers were to be Roger Phelps, Roger Allen Jr., Clyde Staggs Jr., Tommy Pennington, Wayne Sellers, Jerry Poynter, Colter Allen and Jeremy Tiszai.
He was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Tiptonville, son of the late Odie Glen and Betty June (Jackson) Brewer. He married the former Myra Lavina Knight in May 1970. She died Feb. 3, 2011. He was a house painter, a musician and a song writer.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Randy Lyon of Troy; his son, Jamie Brewer of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Anna Lee Lyon and Ashley Nicole Lyon, both of Troy; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Randy Duff of North Carolina, Lurenda and Jerry Sellers of the Elbridge community and Cathy and Dennis Lemons of Dyersburg; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Robbie Allen and Jackie and Teresa Brewer, all of Newbern, and Robert and Jill Brewer of South Fulton; six uncles and aunts, Douglas Brewer, Bernice Jones, Luden Turner, Rosetta Staggs, Herbert Brewer and Kathi Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews.
