“Smoke on the Mountain,” a time-tested favorite among local audiences, is being staged this evening through Sunday at Union City Second Baptist Church at 831 North Everett Blvd.
This evening and Saturday at 6, the congregation’s annual Valentine Banquet will be in full swing, with a meal served in the family life center and the production following in the sanctuary at 7. Tickets are $15 for the dinner and show and $10 for the production only.
On Sunday at 2 p.m., “Smoke on the Mountain” will complete its current local run featuring many of the actors who have made it so popular, and funds raised from the sale of the $10 tickets will go to Hometown Walk of Hope.
Tickets are on sale in the church office and those interested in any of the performances are encouraged to contact the church office at 885-5223 or come by the church soon to choose the show they want to attend.
