Seeds from the sower

The Africans tell of a man who rode a tiger to cross the jungle in a hurry. One day, when he was in a greater hurry, he stood astride two tigers.

Before he had gone far, one tiger went right and the other left. He fell off, and the tigers enjoyed him for lunch. To this day the Africans say, “You can’t ride two tigers at once.”

But some Americans try to.

They try to serve the world and the Word, materialism and the Master, sin and the Savior.

But our Lord said, “you cannot serve both God and money.”

Whom do you serve?
