Nelons to sing
Nationally known recording artists The Nelons will be at First Baptist Church, 5516 Highway 45 in Sharon, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m. A love offering will be accepted and a nursery will be provided.

Concert/contest planned
The pastor and congregation of Bemis First Baptist Church, located at 116 Bemis Lane near Jackson, invite everyone to a concert Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. featuring Daywind artists Red Roots and Silver City, along with the finale of a talent competition that has been on-going for the past month. The contest winner will get a recording session with Daywind.
“Come and be a part of the voting,” a spokesman said. “Each audience member will vote for their favorite artist in the competition. Both groups, Red Roots and Silver City, are up-and-coming Daywind artists. Make plans now to attend for a concert you won’t soon forget, and you can vote for the winner.”

Women to meet
“Love Is in the Air,” is the theme for the Ken-Tenn Women’s Connection monthly luncheon Wednes-day at 11 a.m. at the Ole West Steakhouse at 943 Main St. in Martin.
“Come join us; you’re sure to have a ‘love’ly time,” a spokesman said.
 Pam Rockwell from Paris, representing Sally Lane’s Candy, will be the special feature this month. “Sweets to Love” is the title of her presentation.
“Keep a Song in Your Heart” will be the theme for Troy resident Zoe Ramage’s musical presentation of love songs.
 This month’s main speaker is from Antioch.Barbara Rucker will give her inspirational presentation entitled “Happy Ever After.”

 Dayspring will perform
First Assembly of God in Union City is hosting the Southern Gospel trio Dayspring in concert Saturday at 6 p.m. A love offering for the group will be received that evening. The Rev. Tommy Hall and congregation invite the community to join them for this special time, with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. First Assembly of God is located at 1810 Pleasant Valley Ave.

Revival to begin
The Rev. Kenny Chessor of Finley will lead the revival at Star of Bethlehem Assembly of God on the corner of Possum Trot and Marvin Vaught roads near Troy beginning Sunday at 5 p.m. Services will continue through Wednesday at 7 week nights.
