Ann Perry Posted: Wednesday, February 9, 2011 12:44 pm The Messenger, February 9, 2011 The Messenger has learned of the death of Ann (Taliaferro) Perry, 80, of Atlanta, who died May 17, 2010, in Atlanta. She was the daughter of the late Harry Nicholas and Mar-garet (Parks) Taliaferro. Her mother had lived in Union City. A memorial graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery, with the Rev. Don Brooks officiating. White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. She was born Feb. 13, 1930, in Memphis and attended Farmville (Va.) High School and St. Mary’s School in Raleigh, N.C. She was a 1953 graduate of the University of Georgia and was a member of Phi Mu sorority. She moved to Atlanta in 1960 and worked for Rich’s Department Store until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Catherine (Perry) Maddox of Davidson, N.C.; two sons, James Taliaferro Perry of Atlanta and Robert Gayle Perry of Houston; and six grandchildren.
