Completed arrangements are being announced for Myra Lavina (Knight) Brewer, 58, of Tiptonville, who died Feb. 3, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Ron Newberry officiating. Burial will follow in Crockett Chapel Cemetery near Reelfoot Lake.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Jason Duncan, Trent Duncan, Corey Morgan, Michael Morgan, Jeremy Poyner and Brandon Poyner.
She was born Sept. 16, 1952, in Cleveland, Miss., daughter of the late Dorothy (Mitchell) and Preston Knight Sr. She married Hank Norman Brewer in May 1970. He survives. She was a retired sewing machine operator at the former Crown Manufacturing in Samburg and the former Rolane Manufacturing in Ridgely.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Randy Lyon of Troy; her son, Jamie Brewer of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Anna Lee Lyon and Ashley Nicole Lyon, both of Troy; two sisters, Rita Duncan of Union City and Doris Morgan of Iuka, Miss.; her brother, Preston Knight Jr. of Hornbeak; two nieces, Greta Poyner of Hornbeak and Nina Kirk of Tiptonville; and four nephews, Jason Duncan and Trent Duncan, both of Union City, Michael Morgan of Ridgely and Corey Morgan of Tiptonville.
