Miss Cloar, Patterson to wed March 12

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Bethany Carol Cloar of Union City and Justin “Jay” Patterson of Trenton are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Patricia “Missy” McWherter of Union City. Her grandparents are George and Pat McCullough of Union City.
She is a 2005 graduate of Obion County Central High School and plans to graduate this year from the University of Tennessee at Martin in elementary education. While at UTM, she has been a member of the Student Tennessee Education Association and has been on the Dean’s List. She is a member of Pudge-N-Pals Humane Society and Friends of Gibson County Animals Humane Society.
She is a pharmacy technician at Walmart Pharmacy in Humboldt.
The groom-elect is the son of Kenny and Cindy Patterson of Trenton. His grandparents are the late J.V. and Janna Patterson and the late Billy Joe and Jane Lewis, all of Trenton.
He is a 2005 graduate of Gibson County High School in Dyer and earned a degree in communications with a minor in business leadership at UTM in 2010. While at UTM, he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
He is employed as a supervisor at UPS.
The couple will wed 3:30 p.m. March 12 at Eaton United Methodist Church in Trenton. A reception will follow at the Moffatt Centré in Troy.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
