Joyce Bland, 77, of South Fulton died Feb. 1, 2011, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Hollywood Cemetery, with Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to Liberty Baptist Church, in care of Betty McFarland, 7426 East Pierce Station Road, South Fulton, TN 38257.
She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Jackson, daughter of the late Eric Pearson and Stella (Morgan) Love. She was the widow of John H. Bland and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dresden. She had also been a sales representative for the former Anthony’s Clothing Store in Fulton. She had lived in the area most of her life.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Kristan Poyner, Alyssa Kimbler and Laura Williams, all of Fulton, and Georgia Leach of Cayce, Ky.; and five great-grandchildren, Alexia Alana Lewis, Kenneth Keith Abbott II and Kalaya S.N. Abbott, all of Fulton, and Bryce Kimbler and Maddox Kimbler.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angela L. Leach; and her son, Sean Thomas Bland.
