Totals:
For the week of Jan. 23-29, the Union City Fire Department had a total of 34 alarms, including 19 medical calls, four commercial alarms, two structure fires, one vehicle fire, one mutual aid to Martin, five smoke or gas odor investigations, one motor vehicle accident and one rural fire. There were 128 alarms for the month of January.
