Baptist Memorial Health Care recently introduced a new website that collects and displays testimonials from grateful patients, employees, volunteers, community members and others who have been touched by the organization.
Mystorymybaptist.com allows people to submit photos, statements and videos that chronicle their experiences at Baptist Memorial hospitals.
The site includes several ways to share stories on a number of social media websites.
In addition, if Facebook users “like” a story, it appears on the user’s news feed for their “friends” to see.
Baptist launched the site with more than 70 testimonials, including two from Union City residents who shared their experiences with HeartScore-a technology that can detect heart disease before symptoms appear.
Anyone interested in viewing or submitting a story or video can visit mystorymybaptist.com.
“We think mystorymybaptist.com is a great way to allow people to share their stories of hope and triumph,” said Kara Ward, marketing and public relations coordinator for Baptist Union City.
“Our doctors, employees and volunteers touch so many lives, and many people just want to say thanks. Those words of gratitude mean so much, and we wanted to give people another way to express those feelings,” she added.
“Our organization appreciates feedback and believes in the power of positive stories. We encourage everyone to share their experience by submitting a story on mystorymybaptist.com,” Brad Parsons, administrator and chief executive officer for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, said.
