Completed arrangements are being announced for Bonnie Ophelia (Miller) Hamilton, 87, of Hornbeak, who died Jan. 31, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery, with J.W. Winston officiating. There will be no visitation. White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Lakeview Church of Christ, Highway 22 North, Hornbeak, TN 38232.
She was born Jan. 13, 1924, in Obion County, daughter of the late William Alexander and Fanny Desde (Lee) Miller. She married Jamie Hamilton Sept. 3, 1942. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Lakeview Church of Christ.
Survivors also include two daughters and sons-in-law, Gay and William Mathis of Mayfield, Ky., and Kay and Ray Romero of Kensington, Md.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred Hamilton of Samburg, Gary and Nancy Hamilton of Union City, Jamie Hamilton Jr. and Lisa Hamilton and Judy Hamilton, all of Troy, and Greg and Tommie June Hamilton of Obion; two sisters, Iris Nell Jones of Arkansas and Florence Marie Mond of South Carolina; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Jo Robert Hamilton, two granddaughters, two sisters and four brothers.
