Harold D. Sheridon, 76, of Martin died Jan. 29, 2011, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Services were set for 1 p.m. today at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Jerry Summers officiating. Burial was to follow in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
Family members were to serve as pallbearers.
He was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Obion County, son of the late Willie and Ruth (Meacham) Sheridon. He was married to Katie Mansfield Sheridon, who survives, and was the widower of Pat (Reese) Sheridon. He was a retired electrician for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin and Martin Masonic Lodge No. 551.
He is also survived by his son, David Sheridon of Martin; his stepson, Terry Mansfield of Montgomery, Ala.; his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jimmy Carrington of Sharon; his stepdaughter, Susan Dildine of Martin; his brother, Charles Sheridon of Louisiana; a grandchild, Mark Carrington; four step-grandchildren, Jeremy Mansfield, Hollie Mansfield, Heather Dildine and Chris Dildine; and a step-great-grandchild.
