Carrie (Hurst) Miller, 101, of Tiptonville died Jan. 30, 2011, at Reelfoot Manor in Tiptonville.  
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville, where she was a member for 69 years, with the Rev. Marita Burkeen officiating. Interment will follow in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.
Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the church from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Simmons, Jerry Simmons, Todd Rogers, Glenn Rogers, Cliff Rogers, Keith Hulme, Tommy Lovell and Terry Jamison. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Pierce and Albert Markham.
The family requests that memorials be made to Tiptonville First United Methodist Church.
She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late W.J. and Debby (Smith) Hurst. She was the widow of Joe V. Miller.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Ron Miller and Joe Miller, both of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Bonnie Miller and Donnie Miller, both of Ohio; five nieces, Melba Edge of Memphis, Mabel Walton of Tiptonville, Ruby Stanfill of Ridgely, Helen Drewry of Hickman, Ky., and Mary Lou Curlin of Fulton; and two nephews, Waddell McBride of Obion and James Hurst of Troy.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Charles William Miller and Tom Miller; her sister, Ruby McBride; and three brothers, Alvin Hurst, Leonard Hurst and Arliss Hurst.
