Completed arrangements are being announced for Lenora (Botkin) King, 98, of Fulton, who died 2:35 a.m. Jan. 28, 2011, at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton.
Graveside services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton, with the Rev. Dennis Bowling officiating.
The family requests that memorials be made to Crutchfield United Methodist Church and mailed to Nancy Grasfeder, 197 State Route 924, Fulton, KY 42041.
She was born Jan. 8, 1913, in Fayette County, Ky., daughter of the late Robert Joseph and Ellen (Lincks) Botkin. She was the widow of W.H. “Molly” King and was a homemaker and a member or Crutchfield United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and her son-in-law, Norma and John McClanahan of Fulton and Eleanor Hargis of Franklin; her son and daughter-in-law, James Edward “Jimmy” and Roma King of Fulton; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sara Elizabeth Gray of Champagne, Ill.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Charles King, and two sisters and two brothers.
