There are over 200 children in northwest Tennessee who are placed into state custody many times due to no fault of their own. While those children are out of their home, they need a place that is safe and nurturing to stay. Resource parents offer that safe and nurturing home for those children. If you are interested in providing a safe and nurturing home to a child in state custody, you may attend the upcoming training class (PATH) in Union City this evening at 6 at the Obion County Public Library at 1221 East Reelfoot Ave.
To register and for more information, call Amanda Warren, Kinship coordinator/recruiter Department of Children’s Services at 731-364-3149, ext 122.
