The Jackson Symphony will present its 2011 Crystal Ball Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
Gourmet catering will be provided by Elegant Events and décor by J. Kent Freeman. Attendees will dance the night away to the music of Party Planet.
In addition to the dinner, there will be a silent auction featuring a limited number of special auction items. This event benefits the Jackson Symphony’s community arts programs, outreach and educational initiatives.
The Crystal Ball also recognizes the volunteer dedication of its Senior Ambassadors. The Symphony Ambassador program is a service organization for West Tennessee high school students who volunteer for the Jackson Symphony.
Proceeds from the Crystal Ball also help fund educational and outreach programs such as the summer music camp, two youth orchestras, the free annual Starlight Symphony and the Christmas Gift to the Community Concerts.
