Elaine Jones, 73, of South Fulton died 2:45 a.m. Jan. 24, 2011, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with burial following there in Pleasant View Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
The family requests that memorials be made to Jackson Chapel Church, in care of Sadie Humphreys, 778 Humphreys Road, Clinton, KY 42031.
She was born Nov. 26, 1937, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of the late Robert Fate and Gladys Evelyn (Jackson) Bone. She married Thomas Eugene Jones Oct. 4, 1984. He survives. She had made her home in South Fulton since 2003 and had retired from Snap-On Tools in Olive Branch, Miss. She was a member of Jackson Chapel Church.
Survivors also include her daughter, LaDonna Cannon of Paducah; two sons, Randy Glynn Cannon of Tampa, Fla., and Danny Lynn Cannon of Dyersburg; four stepdaughters, Dianna Sevoya of Belleville, Ill., Teri Jo Reynolds of Martin, Tami Dean Kooch of Maryville and Tina Kay Hill of South Fulton; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Patsy Garnetta Dixon of Longview, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her stepson, Thomas Randall Koster, and her brother.
