MAYFIELD, Ky. (AP) — A state highway in western Kentucky has been reopened after five hours of rounding up cattle.
Kentucky State Police say a tractor-trailer truck carrying livestock drifted off the right edge of Highway 339 near the Fancy Farm community in Graves County on Monday.
The rig turned on its side and cattle escaped. Driver Keith Rangel wasn’t hurt.
The roundup team included state troopers, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement officers, the Fancy Farm Volunteer Fire Department and numerous area residents.
