Completed arrangements are being announced for Sue (Brandon) Pryor, 71, of Troy, who died 7:15 a.m. Jan. 21, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with the Revs. Jimmy Calhoun and Judd Mowery officiating. Burial followed in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bart Orr, Greg Orr, Richard Pryor, Joe Morris, Harry Johnson and Kenneth Sanders. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Cherry, Bob Moffitt, Baxter Sanders and Hollis Diviney.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hometown Walk of Hope, P.O. Box 482, Union City, TN 38281.
Mrs. Pryor was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Obion County, daughter of the late Buren and Dora (Wiley) Brandon. She married Billy Pryor Nov. 23, 1962. He survives. A homemaker, she was a 1958 graduate of the former Hornbeak High School and a member of Cobb’s Chapel United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World Lodge 196 in Hornbeak.
She is also survived by her stepson and daughter-in-law, Steve and Dianne Pryor of Olive Branch, Miss.; her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Kenneth Orr of Hornbeak; two step-granddaughters and the spouse of one, Nichole and Gary Garlington of Germantown and Courtney Pryor of Olive Branch; her step-great-granddaughter, Sophie Garlington of Germantown; and three nephews, Bart Orr of Hornbeak, Greg Orr of Troy and John Michael Brandon of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her stepson, Randy Pryor; and her brother, John Brandon.
