Jerry Glen Dennison, 78, of St. Charles, Mo., a former resident of Obion, died Jan. 20, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles.
Services were set for 2 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, with the Rev. James Robert Gunner officiating. Pallbearers were to be Jerry Jones, Joshua Tucker, Gary Dennison, Jerry Dennison, Rick Willis and Bill Bard.
Burial was to follow in Newbern’s Fairview Cemetery.
He was a retired barber and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Woodard’s Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Troy Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Dimple Dennison of Obion; his daughter, Nancy Smith of St. Charles; his son, Gary Dennison of Milwaukee; his sister, Carolyn Thompson of Newbern; and three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euble and Mary Nancy (Whitson) Dennison; and his brother, Billie Joe Dennison.
