Since 1982, the Bartlett-based Ministry to Men Foundation Inc. has been investing in the spiritual lives of men through its Maximum Man conferences around the country.
On Jan. 28-29, First Baptist Church in Millington at 5010 West Union will host this inter-denominational conference presenting the practical application of Biblical principles for victorious living.
Conference times will be 6-9 p.m. on Jan. 28 and 7 a.m.-noon on Jan. 29. Registration is $45, which includes conference work books, breakfast on Saturday, conference material and refreshments during seminar breaks.
Ministry to Men Foundation Inc., the producer and director of the Maximum Man Conference, is a tax-free, non-profit, non-denominational foundation with offices in Memphis. Ministry to Men is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
The latest addition to the speaker’s list is Tim Barton, a national speaker for WallBuilders, a pro-family organization that presents America’s forgotten history and heroes, with an emphasis on our religious, moral and constitutional heritage. WallBuilders has been nationally recognized for its work in education, history, law and public policy, integrating the elements of Biblical faith and morality throughout all aspects of American life and culture.
Barton, who currently serves as a basketball camp coach at Duke University, will speak in a “special session” to students (middle school, high school, home school) on Jan. 28 at 3 p.m.
Conference attendees are encouraged to register early, with churches from throughout the Mid-South expected to be represented in the eight-hour conference, which focuses on man and his master, man and his family, man and his country and man and his career.
