Completed arrangements are being announced for Gail Vivian (Iverson) Schrader, 89, of Gallatin, formerly of Union City, who died at Gallatin Healthcare Jan. 14, 2011.
Services will be noon Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Stan Waldon officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to Sumner Hospice, 575 East Bledson St., Gallatin, TN 37066.
She was born June 26, 1921, in Decorah, Iowa, daughter of the late Theodore and Rose (Thomas) Iverson. She had been employed at the former Lear-Siegler in Union City and was a member of Union City First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carrol and Bob Pitts of Gallatin; her son, Dennis Schrader of Deland, Fla.; her grandson and his wife, Todd and Lauren Batson of Hendersonville; two great-grandchildren, Jack Batson and Sara Catherine Batson, both of Hendersonville; her sister, Helen Seim of Ames, Iowa; her brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Darlene Iverson of Decorah; her brother-in-law, Donald Schwank of Barrington, Ill.; eight nieces and her nephew; and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and her brother-in-law, Marguerite and Lester Rasmussen and Frances Schwank.
